Lazix has quickly become my favourite place to visit in Canterbury for a cake and a catch up with friends. For five visits I've had quick, friendly service every single time. The menu has a great range of choices, although the chocolate orange cake is so addictively gorgeous that I tend to get that most of the time. It tastes like jaffa cakes turned into a tiered cake and is amazing! The outside seating upstairs on the terrace is also lovely in sunny weather. Highly recommend!

Review: This cafe in Canterbury is clearly a local favorite, and it’s easy to see why! We visited during the early lunch hour, and it was buzzing with people, but there were plenty of tables available, including a cozy outdoor area with a covering. The service was excellent despite the busy atmosphere, and we had the best chai we’ve ever tasted—rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. Although we didn’t get a chance to try the food, the dishes we saw being served looked absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit for a great drink and lively ambiance!

This cafe is tucked away on the cobble streets in this beautiful and charming city. I would highly recommend visiting for a coffee or snack, their menu is ranged and well priced and sure to have something you may fancy. It also seems that in the evening it turns into a bar which, with the lovely and unique inside decor would be fabulous for drinks or a meal. They have upstairs seating which gives some privacy and is a perfect spot to visit.

I came in here with my wife and two daughters for a pit stop after a few agonising hours of shopping. We were instantly greeted by the owner who made us feel incredibly welcome despite the cafe being very busy and another member of staff (equally as approachable as the owner) took us upstairs and set us a table by the terrace (I didn't know they had so much space upstairs and the terrace looks like a great place to relax on a nicer day). The staff interacted playfully with my daughters and had them giggling and smiling throughout our visit, which we decided to extend from a quick drink to a sit down meal. The food was a very pleasant surprise, everything was fresh, plentiful and the menu was very diverse and imaginative. I went from dragging my heels around town carrying bags to feeling happy, full and excited for finding a new hidden gem - one we will be frequent visitors of.
